Scorpio pets usually feel in their element from October 23 to November 21, which is when the sun is in Scorpio each year, aka Scorpio season. But this October and November, there will be eclipses on the Scorpio-Taurus axis, which will make these pets more anxious than usual. They may be nervous around new people or other animals, so take a look around the dog park before unleashing them. Watch your Scorpio kitties by the door to make sure they don’t dash out to avoid visitors.

Even More Info About Your Scorpio Pet

Because, be honest, you want to know ev-er-y-thing about your baby Scorpio. (And honestly, same.)

They’re Ride-or-Die for Life

They may act aloof at first, but don’t let a Scorpio’s initial standoffish behavior fool you. Beneath that cool exterior, Scorpio pets feel all the feels—they’re simply sizing you up and deciding whether or not you’re worthy of their love and affection.

But once you’ve passed the Scorpio test, you’re in with them for life. “Scorpio is a fiercely loyal sign,” Edut says.

They’re Obsessed With You

Say hello to your new wingman, because these passionate furry souls love-bomb their pet parents in a way that’s almost obsessive. We’re talking canoodles and kisses at all hours of the day. And good luck keeping a Scorpio dog or cat off your bed at night.

“When they come to cuddle, they won’t take kindly to being sent away,” Edut says. So, be prepared to share your pillow.

No, They’re the Boss

Scorpio pets also like to run the show, so don’t be surprised if your dog’s the ringleader at the dog park or your cat’s instigating a meow mutiny in the living room. They have a controlling streak and may also want to call the shots at home, too, so being firm with house rules is a must for Scorpio sweethearts.

Strong Intuition Is Their Superpower

Scorpio dogs and cats are super in-tune with their pet parents. They can pick up any vibe you’re throwing down, good or bad.

“You might feel like your Scorpio pet can read your mind, but they are also very sensitive to any rejection,” explains Edut. So, keep this in mind the next time your pet seems down, and don’t be afraid to give extra cuddles.

OK, now go give your Scorpio baby a big ‘ole hug. Because as we just learned, they really, really want one! (And those bonus cuddles might just be the best birthday gift of them all.)
