Best Overall Cat Carrier

Soft and strong
My kitty hurt her nose rubbing against the inside of her old plastic carrier too much. This carrier has more room and has a soft interior. Perfect for my loving kitty! It's strong. The bottom is solid so you don't have to worry about feeling like the cat's in a bag (pun intended). Happy with this purchase!
-
Good quality
This carrier is lightweight and easy to get my cats in and out of. I like that it is open so they can see and the flooring is good for them to grip. Not that cats are easy to get into and out of anything they don't want to get into. lol
-
A Huge Hit!!
My cats are terrified of their old carriers so I thought I’d try something new. They both love these carriers - Suzy taken up residence. I did buy a larger size than the specs indicated.

Love top load carriers
So much easier to load a cat thru the large top opening rather than the small door as they do not have much of a chance to put the "brakes" on.
-
A better carrier
My partner bought three of these for his cats. I was impressed with the ease of loading a prickly cat through the top, when I took one to the vet. It was sturdier than my carriers. I haven't assembled mine yet, but my partner said it was easy, only took a few minutes. If the current stray moves in, I'll be getting another. We chose the medium to give more space gor cats to move around on a long trip. The only quibble I had is that the box is tapered so the floor and roof are smaller than the "waist". I prefer a more square shape to get maximum floor space for the space it takes up in the car.

Functional
Durable, functional, cute. Nice crate for my small dog. Just wish door would stay open or had a hinge to keep it open as a safe space for my pup.
Best Cat Carrier Bag

Great purchase!
I finally tossed the cardboard cat carrier from the store and treated my kitty to this! The reviews are great and I back them. It’s sturdy and he loves the Sherpa bed inside. I left it out for him to get used to it and my cat takes naps in it. I want it to feel like a safe place for him. Thank you, Chewy!
-
Nice carrier.
I believe that my cat was calmer when I used this carrier to take him to the vet. Possibly, it is because he was able to see more of what was going on around him. Also, I was able to place a small item that I needed to take to the vet into a small pocket attached to the carrier.

Small & medium dog carrier
I have both a small and medium carrier. I am happy with both of them. My dog loves them she runs into the medium size and barks to signal she’s ready to go. I’ll be taking her on the plane with me soon. Vacation. I definitely recommend. It is light weight plenty of ventilation, yet, sturdy and easy to manage. Good quality for the price.
Best Backpack For Cats

Hiking Backpack
It is built really well, we have it set out on the floor and ready to go in a flash. It has great visibility and the right size. It is made great we should have ordered another.

Best carrier in 12 years
I have purchased four different carriers from Chewy and a store. The backpack design is always the best for me - it's easy to carry and better for your back. But it was always a problem to get my cats into any of the other carriers. I also have two larger cats who need more room and this carrier is perfect. I was wary of the soft sides becuase other carriers have sagged, or collapsed onto my cat but this one is constructed the right way to balance their weight and keep its shape.

10/10 recommend
My cat hates going outside but he’s going to now I got this. It’s honestly great it’s like a carrier but upside and has a leash inside to keep him secured. I recommend it’s also comfortable honestly feels like I’m not even carrying my chunky cat

Second time purchase
This is a great, durable and easy to operate as well as affordable pet carrier. The first was bought for my cat and the second was bought for my daughter who was moving with her cat. The top entry is an ideal access option for cats highly recommended. The first, same brand carrier has lasted 5 years thus far.

Pet carrier
Perfect solution for cat pet owners. No more fighting trying to push the cat in from end gate, the top load is easy,Drop the cat in and close it.

perfect for a nervous boy
I had to get a hard carrier for my little boy as he gets nervous when traveling. He rips through the mesh bags and have gone through 3 since adopting him. So I decided to look for a hard carrier. After searching for dozens I am very happy with this purchase. He had plenty of room and my little 14 pound baby boy was happy and didn’t destroy anything. I got him a comfy mat as well. George gives it a solid A+ and also got a clean bill of health at his check up! Also the other kittys just like sleeping in it now.
Best Collapsible Cat Carrier

One of my 2 cats absolutely loves it all the time; the other for transport only
I ordered two. One for each cat to go to the vet. So lightweight and easy to hold in the hand. Much easier to lure a reluctant cat into it who otherwise resists going in a standard design carrier. There is plenty of room to walk in and claim the catnip or treat. I have a cushy flat bed with a rolled edge that fits perfectly in each carrier. My other cat loves it as you would love a tent. She loves to go inside every day and sleep in it for hours; because she enjoys every factor - being sequestered, but having an open door at the same time, the darkness, quietude. I also love the flap that can remain open by aligning the velcro with the...

Necoichi Cat Carrier
We added a 2nd shelter cat to our family so this is the 2nd Neocoichi carrier we purchased. We live in So. Calif. and wildfires are always a possibility so best to be prepared! The carriers are lightweight which is important as we're seniors, and they store compactly which is perfect for our smaller home. Plus our cats enjoy visiting them if we set them up temporary for playtime adventures in our livingroom. Great product!
-
really cute
I was afraid my cats would be heavy and make it collapse but we just had our first trip to the vet with it and it held up. I wish it was a little less wide in the bottom, it hits against me as I walk, but it is easier to get the cat in and out of and was a very good price.
Best Rolling Cat Carrier
-
10 Stars!!
I would give this 10 stars if I could. Gone are the days carrying a heavy cat in a carrier with a handle that kills your back because the cat shifts in it and throws off your balance. This is a god send, the cat is safe and not sliding around and you are safe from back strain and shifting throwing you off balance, saving you from a potential fall.
-
Very Practical
Gucci loved it, she felt very comfy. She had space. I loved that you could roll it, use it as a backpack and a carryon. It's worth the money. You pet will love it, you will love it.

Remington's New Ride
I't a little early to give a full review for this carrier as we have not traveled with it yet. However, it looks nice, it's sturdy, and my pup should have plenty of room. I believe this will be so much easier than the carry-only carrier we used before.
Best Expandable Cat Carrier

my cat tolerated this well
I used this to bring my 13 lb cat on a 2 hour plane ride. He managed it very well. On the way there, I gave him gabapentin, which he hated, and he somehow managed to open the zipper to the bag from the inside and stick his head out. I kept it expanded under the seat while we flew so he could stretch out. On the flight back home, I didn't give him gabapentin (he spat it out and refused to take it), so we flew without it and he did even better. Highly recommend this, even better if you can put something soft inside (I put a soft highly absorbent microfiber towel in case he had an accident) and he really did just fine. He doesn't love flying...

Just like last one
This is just like the last one I bought in 2016, but the color is different than pictured. It has a grey front. Also, the mesh is different, seems a little more robust which is good. My little girl cat just managed to claw her way out of the old carrier, tearing the screen. With this one it seams the screen is stronger to resist her efforts. She will sit on top, lay inside the "screened room" and loves it as long as she isn't shut inside... I saw reviews which claimed it wasn't self standing with the door open. This is untrue. The ends do unzip do this can fold flat. BUT there is a door in the end so you don't need to unzip the end....

Happy Puppy
My 9 week old. Malchi was a little scared the first time in, but the 2nd time around was much easier. Maltese/Chihuahua happy pup.
Best Cat Carrier for Car Travel
-
Great for animals who hate carriers
My cat enoki hates carriers, cars, vet offices, and being told what to do. I manage to get him into this with minimal struggle, the attached leash is very helpful. And his angry peeing is greatly helped by things being very washable.

Works well w/options
Love this item. Love that it folds flat to store in my trunk. Love that it straps in to use as a car seat with a small clip inside to attach to their leash/harness to secure. I’ve also used it as a carrier to bring my 17 lb dog inside a few places. (Straps are just a teeny bit short for that but overall not an issue.) I like that it has a mesh zipper opening at the top and at the slanted front (the mesh there is nice for the dog to allow them to look out). I got this on a whim when Chewy was having a promo of buy 3 certain types of items and get a discount and I’m so glad I did. My 10 lb chi and 17 lb dox like it (and I can fit both in...

Nice Roomy Carrier
The Pet Gear carrier is lightweight and roomy. I like this design better than a hard-shell carrier. It doesn't seem so claustrophobic.
Best Budget Cat Carrier

I haven’t used the bag yet but it looks like it’s made of good materials and has quite a bit of room.

Comfy Cat Carrier
It's vet visit time and in the year since my kitten became a cat her original carrier has "shrunk" considerably. Time for a new carrier. This carrier is perfect for my needs...zippers on both ends for easy entry and "escape" , lightweight, cushioned padding inside and lots of sturday mesh so my girl can see where I'm taking her. There are also 2 different straps making carrying the bag simple to use.

Perfect for Pearl
I'm pleased with the quality and expect Pearl will be comfortable traveling in the new carrier. Today is her first trip!
