Las Vegas, Nevada, is a popular travel destination that attracts visitors from all over the world due to its multitude of casinos and hotels, the non-stop bustle of The Strip and its unrivaled nightlife. But seasoned travelers know there’s more to Vegas than the gambling and glamour. Its also a family-friendly destination—and that includes four-legged family members. The entire area is teeming with hotels, attractions and restaurants that increasingly welcome pups and their parents, making it a great pet-friendly vacation destination. “Las Vegas is, at its heart—underneath all the glitz, glitter and showgirls—a very small town,” says Cathy Brooks, owner of The Hydrant Club, a doggy daycare and training center in Downtown Las Vegas. “[Residents] really care about their neighbors and engage with each other. It is a very pet-centric town. They love their dogs. They love their pets. And they love talking them places and having things to do with them.” Discover what Sin City has to offer pet parents and their pups, and why it makes for a fun spring break family vacation.
