Finally A Bowl My Cat Loves!
Well, I've bought all kinds of bowls and even flat dishes so mybcat would eat without pulling it onto the floor...what a mess! We stared feeding her on a silicone baking mat just so it wouldn't end up on smeared on the floor. My Cat eats with her paws....Until, I bought these bowls. I love these bowls. They are easy to clean and my cats seem to eat slower. I previously bought ceramic dishes for them but somehow they managed to knock one off the counter and onto the floor and there were shards of the bowl everywhere. I am thankful that I was in the next room or it could have been a nightmare.

An upgrade to my cat’s existing food dish!
I have been using a regular ceramic plate for years with my cat. He is a cat who tends to spread his foot all over the plate when he is eating. These “bowls” have made it much easier for him to eat his food as there are grooves in the design to catch food and make it easier for him to pick up. The curved shape is also enough to keep food from falling out while avoiding the problem with his whiskers hitting the sides of the bowl. The fact that these are machine washable was an added bonus. I would recommend to anyone with messy eaters, particularly when it comes to wet food.

This dish slows her down pretty well. Since the vet told me that it was OK to feed her more canned food than dry--which is what she prefers--I have been feeding her about twice as much as I had been, and this dish definitely slows her down so that she mostly doesn't throw up. She has to go all around the dish to get the food out, and that makes it work. It's slick and easy to wash. I am glad I got it.

I love love love this set and I got it on clearance which makes me love it even more! The shallow bowls come out of the mat easily and I can wash them as often as needed and are stainless steel - so I don't have to worry about hard water stains or any other stains. Out of the feeding bowls I've tried, this one is my favorite to use for my cats! While the silicone bottom is detached, I don't find this an issue personally and find it helps keep the silicone safe and allows me to dishwash the stainless steel bowls. The bowl is shallow, but since I do smaller feedings twice a day, I haven't had issues with the shallowness and it personally helps me visualize how much I'm feeding my cats. Still Working After 3 Years!
We've had this cat water fountain for over three years now and it is still going strong. We have three cats who use it frequently. The only drawback is when we loose power the fountain stops and I have to revert to still bowls of water, which they now refuse to drink out of. LOL! So spoiled.
