15 Cats Who Wouldn’t Do Well in Santa’s Workshop

This time of year, most tiny creatures are on their very best behavior—after all, Santa is watching.

Cats, however, don’t play by the jolly old elf’s rules. In fact, the holidays seem to inspire some of their most mischievous behavior.

After making our list and checking it twice, we can confidently say that these kitties are on the naughty list this year.

“What? I was just admiring the tree. The beautiful, beautiful tree full of shiny objects that I don’t want to kill…”

Fa-la-la-la-NOPE.

There’s only one way this ends—and it’s not looking good for the gingerbread man.

Attack the presents, or pull down some lights? After napping on it, Leo knew the answer: both.

When you’re this outrageously cute, you take your chances with the coal.

Luigi was making his own list—and those on it would pay dearly.

Bert can’t even with that “Christmas Shoes” song.

“Who are you calling Santa Paws, lady?”

Things you should accept right now: every gift bag belongs to your cat.

Krampus, or Persian cat? Either way, this magnificent creature’s name is Duff, and he’s a Christmas miracle.

“Santa didn’t get your letter? Pity.”

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse—Luke saw to that.

Run, run Rudolph—no, seriously buddy. Things are about to get ugly here.

A true master of her craft, Magnolia likes to carefully inspect the tree before she topples it.

He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake—so you better hope the Santa costume was worth it, human.
