Scottish actor Gerard Butler (“300,” “P.S. I Love You,” “Olympus Has Fallen”) has a new leading lady in his life: a rescued pup!
In late November, the star of the upcoming “How to Train Your Dragon 3” posted a heartwarming photo to his Instagram in which he’s cuddled up and getting smooches from his new pet.
“Thankful for a new wee doggie in my life,” Butler wrote. “She was a stray while I was filming up a mountain in Bulgaria.”
But even up in the mountains and miles from home, these two were meant to be. As Butler put it simply, the dog he would eventually rescue, “stole my heart.”
Butler’s newest canine joins his pet-friendly family which includes a Pug named Lolita.
Yep … another day, another hunky Hollywood pet dad to swoon over.
