Elka Karl is a writer and communications consultant collaborating with a variety of mission-driven clients. Her work has appeared in publications including InStyle, Modern Farmer, and PopSugar. Elka is on the advisory board for Humble, a Bay Area horsemanship program providing free and low-cost riding lessons to children who have historically been denied access to the horse world. A lifelong equestrian, Elka is the happy owner of Kleary’s Grateful aka Jerry, a young Irish Sporthorse mare. If you are not a horse person and would enjoy being bored, ask her about her horse.
