Carolina del Busto

Carolina del Busto is a freelance writer for Pet Central at Chewy. She has been working as a freelance writer and editor in Miami since 2013. The Florida native is shockingly not a fan of piña coladas or getting caught in the rain, but she does enjoy a good Netflix binge and she’s really into Rosé at the moment. Her favorite childhood memories involve her dog, Perdita, whom she named after the titular character in Walt Disney’s 1961 classic One Hundred and One Dalmatians (everyone knows Pongo would be lost without Perdy). Much like her current pet cat, Maxine, Carolina enjoys shiny things and the occasional nap. Fun fact about Carolina: She’s allergic to cats.
