Finally found something to firm up my dogs poop!
I adopted my one-year-old pit bull mix from the local animal shelter in January. She consistently had very loose, unformed, soft or even watery stools. I eventually put her on a chicken-based kibble with probiotics/pumpkin that was supposed to help with digestibility and firm up stools. It did not help her at all. I finally tried this salmon-based kibble, and she now has perfectly formed stool!! This is apparently exactly what she needed. We are on the second bag now and I have seen no bugs in the kibble, nor have I encountered other problems with it. Luckily, my dog loves it as well!
