This cat house was easy to build and the quality is quite good. Not sure why the reviews suggest otherwise. We will add foam insulation and enclose the top for our outdoor crew, plus stuff with comfy hay, but overall, this was better than expected.

Perfect for the winter!
Houses are well made, and easy to assemble. Very spacious for a larger dog and the heater keeps the temp comfortable on the cold nights. My dogs are not too sure about the front door. Easily removed the bottom half of the door and still enough to keep the heat in and my pups like that much better so they can look out.

I bought this dog house cause my dog loves to stay outside all day. It was a little complicated to put together but it was very nice but my dog doesn’t go in at all.

Needed a sturdy doghouse for my medium sized dogs. Bought this and am extremely pleased. First thing they did was chew the outside edges of the roof (which I expected) but they love it and it is great cover for when they are playing outside. It was each to put together as well. I liked it enough to buy a second one.

The customer support team at Chewy was very helpful! So I thought I'd leave a happy review. This dog house is huge (4 x 4) and looks great. I think it's worth it. I would not house a 200-pound dog in it, except that it is wood and screws and a reasonably handy person could build on what's here. For example, you could find a way to mount the roof with hinges for easy cleaning, as one reviewer has done. THAT SAID: It is day 1 and my dog will not go in it. I went in and the finish is very strong, and I suspect that is the issue. I will let it breathe and hope for the best! Thanks, Chewy!

Perfect house for a large dog!
Arrived quickly, easy to assemble with good instructions. Our little "puppy" that is now 5 months old and about 30 pounds (& still growing) loves his new house! We hope it will continue to be a good outside house for him when he is fully grown!

It has a slanted roof so that rain water and snow doesn't accumulate on it. And it comes with a door flap to further keep the elements out and protects my little guy and he can hang out in there till the bad weather passes. Love this doghouse.

It is for our cat mostly who is mainly outside but also incase it starts to rain when our dog is outside and we aren’t home. They now have a little home of there own to hide out in.

Perfect size for my little one to go in and lay down, turn around and enough space for a little bed for him. The only suggestion I have would be to have some kind of flap or door on the front we could close to keep other animals out when not in use.
